About me

Privet, the most wonderful people of planet Earth! My name is Irina and I am an artist. I was born in Moscow, Russia; a very cold place, you know. I have loved to draw since I was a little girl.  Creating art has become my second nature. In Moscow, I finished art school and later college of classical animation and worked as an animator in an animation studio and in the computer gaming industry. In 2000, I moved with my husband and daughter to Utah. Now we have five amazing children, two dogs, and two cats.  In 2011, I started working on my (American) degree in illustration at Utah Valley University.  I love children books and am currently working on my own illustrations.
